theFrankes.com is the private blog site of the Franke families and includes a wide variety of content that is of interest to its members. Most of the content is made publicly available. Those pages that require a password to view are intended for family members only.
Where Is the Stuff I Used to See?
Much of the content that was once hosted at theFrankes.com or plans.theFrankes.com (including content related to home studio racks and plans, programming, Alibre Design plug-ins, robotics, etc) can now be found in other locations. These new sites are all part of theFrankes’ online publishing network.
- CodeCreations.com – Alibre Design applications, programming, robotics, and other applications.
- Geneaology Resources – Public genealogy content
- RackCreations.com – Forums for home studio, recording, studio furniture building and other related discussions.
- Studio Workstation Plans – Order page for home studio furniture plans. (This is now a temporary location for these plans as we are in the process of moving them to their now home at www.RackCreations.com.)

Greetings. Well the gathering went very well, all 17 family members (down my side of the tree) were at our place for the better part of the week (the meals were both a challenge a highlight). The chess boards were very well received, there are video and pictures on Facebook, but I do not know how to make them available to you, I am just now getting my feet wet in that environment. #2 son has posted pictures with a most beautiful set of men he bought for his board.
Please continue with your plan to post the pics, etc. and I will notify the boys.

I purchased plans for studio workstation #5… paid through Paypal, but upon completing the transaction, it just sent me back to the page with all the plans on it. I see no place to download the pdf file!-

Thanks for contacting me. It looks like you already found it, but in case others have the same question, look for an email called “Order Confirmation & Detail.” (Sometimes these emails get swept up by spam filters.) This email contains a download link and password information for your order.

Yes, the server that site was on was hacked really badly and I haven’t been able to recover it. I’m working on getting some of the content back out from backups, but I want to move it to a more secure system, and that’s taking some time. Regarding compatibility with AD 2012, I haven’t heard that it’s not working, but I haven’t been able to test it myself.
